psst -- want a ficlet?|
;_; Alright, in the spirit of cracked out pairings... demonless!Gaara and Lee, talking about beliefs.
"But it's just not right to crush people mercilessly for taking your last candy bar," Lee said.
Gaara blinked. "Nobody complained before. --And do you have any idea how hard it is to keep your candy bars from melting in the middle of the desert? I was ...cranky."
"Still," Lee said, arms crossed. "There are methods of dealing with these things. You should at LEAST have challenged him to mortal combat and explained to him why the Valor of Youth does Not Support the Thievery of Other People's Carefully Acquired Confections before crushing him in the name of correcting his errors. It's like cats. If you don't squirt them in the nose when they've done something wrong, they don't learn not to do it again."
"...He'll never use either of his hands again. That takes care of the problem much more efficiently."
"Yes, but it's the PRINCIPLE of the thing."
"Fine," Gaara said. "I'll let you lecture the next one before I pulverize every bone in the thief's hands and forearms. Happy?"
"That's the spirit!" Lee said, with a painfully bright grin and a thumbs-up.
The moment they walked away, the spy from Sound who was clinging desperately to the underside of the roof ledge fled for his life. He had to get the news of Gaara's new Leaf-approved method of maiming anyone who touched his desserts to Orochimaru before the snake-eyed maniac decided that he felt peckish again...
Haaaa, oh glee. O thank you, I'm laughing so hard.
you're (much belatedly) welcome! ^__^
The truly scary (and beautiful) thing about this is how IC it actually is, while still being complete and utter crack. *grins*
Lee is crack. And love. And so is Gaara. And Orochimaru makes everything funny. It practically wrote itself really. ^__^;;;
Just stumbled on your work, and I have to say that this short made me giggle out loud ^_^ A lecture from Lee and THEN hand maiming... Truly a fate to be feared. Orichimaru had better be careful!
