03:36 pm chibiflistchan [Link]	stopthatgirl7 - Wii Fit Challenge~: DOOOOOOOOOOOOORK XDDDDD http://stopthatgirl7.insanejournal.com/296665.html 10-Dec-2009 12:02a Time spent: 1:02 Calories burned: 286 BMI: 29.09 So I booted up the Wii, decided, "I'm gonna do some yoga today. I feel kinda bleh." I went to the yoga menu, pulled up the crescent moon pose, then went, "Wait, what the--?" at the male trainer being on the screen. "I'm doing it instead of the other trainer!" he proclaimed, and I went, "OK, what? First it changed hairstyles on me, then genders? Whaaa-?" and rolled with it. Or tried. But it was too weird seeing a guy with no ass and oversized thighs on the screen. I figured, though, hey, one day of a change. No, it was just one exercise, then it went back to the chick. And I was like, "Hunh, just when I got used to the idea of using the guy trainer." And decided, "Oh, why not? If nothing else, it'll help with with understanding guys speaking Japanese," and went into the settings and told it to use the male trainer, and popped open an easy yoga pose. Y'know, I don't think you're supposed to point and laugh at the trainer, but I did. Literally. The male trainer? DOOOOOOOOOORK. I was yelling, "Dude, you are waaaay too perky!" at the screen when he was giving praise (I swear, he sounded like Koyasu Takehito's in seriously-need-of-ritalin little brother with ADHD or something), then I got four stars and he gave me this DORKTASTIC thumbs up (the woman claps, so you know) and I literally pointed and laughed at the screen. I got as far as, "Dude, if you start clapping--" with a warning finger waggle when he gave the thumbs up, and I swear, I lost it. I went from you-better-not finger wag to POINTING AND LAUGHING. And it wasn't that first time, oh, no, it was every time, because it never stopped being laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaameriffic. >XD I honestly thing that every time he went, "Gambatte!" I went, "Pffffftahahaha~ snerk" Which was really unhelpful in the middle of exercises. >XD I got some pretty crap scores today all because I was too busy laughing my head off at the trainer than to keep my balance. And ohhh, it was so worth it. I did more muscle training that I normally do just so I could laugh at the dork. 08:33 am weloveamigurumi [cosmonautnicki] [Link]	Twilight Amigurumi So here is my newest amigurumi project... a wolf plush for a Twilight-vampire-themed book of knitted projects, soon to be published by Potter Craft, a division of Random House. I think he ended up looking a lot more submissive than I wanted him to - I am going to be making a second wolf, so I already know I'm going to work on the ears a bit and make them stand up more (and shrink a little, LOL). I just wondered if anyone in the Amigurumi community (sorry, I haven't posted anything in probably three years, I've just been lurking lately) could offer some constructive criticism or have any suggestions? Thanks! Oh, and he's about 10 inches long and 6 inches high. Final Fantasy VII has been one of my favorite games because of it's awesome game play, cool characters and wonderful storyline. I would always read fanfics on the net all the time to satisfy my fangirl-ish self. I couldn't have enough..... Hey, we can all feel guilty about that, right? If somebody asked me what was my first FF7 fandom, then my answer would be Sephiroth/Cloud of course! Oh, c'mon! Those two are really all over each other with all the cold revenge, heavy drama, betrayal and of course ANGST. It was as if I could sense their love being implied in there...... This'll be the third year I'm doing this so some of you may be familiar with this already. Basically you send me your letter and I forward it to Hatano. It's that simple. Deadline is December 15. Some notes: - Hatano only understands Japanese but letters in any language are accepted. 10:05 pm mako [Link]	Highlights of Life Highlights of the past few days, mainly because I am tired and want to go to bed, but feel like I should write something down. - There was a gas leak nextdoor last night that had my neighbor coming by telling me to listen for noise and to get out of my house very quickly should I hear anything. Poor emergancy crew had to dig through frozen ground to get to the pipes to fix the leak, too. But everything worked out well and yes. It just smelled terrible. - Laura and Jen S. were able to catch the mangled cat! They saw the cat yesterday (when I was off) and tried to catch it (got the Humane Society down to help, too) but were unable to capture her. They could see from afar that she had been injured and felt terrible. But we caught her this morning- had her in a cage that they had left out last night (with food and a blanket) and yes. Poor cat's ear has been nearly ripped to shreds =\ Laura took her to an emergancy vet clinic and they are seeing if they can get funding from the Humane Society to do the surgery. She isn't feral, the cat, as she let Laura hold her, but she is a stray. I'm hoping for the best. - I washed a young, insane sheltie named Alpine today. He's funny. - Raleigh came in~ Raleigh is our newest boxer and is hillarious. His bark is kind of like a "Bow! BOOOOW" and makes me smile. - It is bleedin' cold! I need to find my hat for the walk in tomorrow. D: - My Mom is still sick TT; It is a cold, but it's sticking around and T_T - Tomorrow, work! More work. Huzzah. And now, I sleep. <3 -Mako p.s. I knew South Africa wasn't as far advanced towards gay rights as the U.S. or Canada or such, but I didn't know the rest of Africa was quite this bad. A legal death sentence for simply being gay? In this day and age? I mean.. what the... this just... 'recruit kids? And serioursly, how do their minds work, that they see homosexuals as singlehandedly responsible for straight couples' adultery? Boys and girls, do not be like me! XD Charlie Beast and Marlin are sharing a chair. Charlie has become a rather hefty boy. Some of you might remember how teeny he was when we rescued him. View poll: should I turn the heater on? it's 25F and I have a chest cold. eta: in my (weak) defense, I have been staying in bed with about seven blankets and a running laptop, plus a rice bag and a woolly sweater, and take a really hot bath every day. Item: Would it be funny, inappropriate or both to have a scene where Spock1 delicately breaks it to Nyota that Spock2's uh biological clock has not hit pon farr o'clock, and she kind of has a cow? Possibly with Jim going Uhhh didn't you know you calculate Vulcan physiological age by dividing in half, or did you not wonder why his mother married a seventy year old? 12:36 pm wakikaki [Link]	Mongolia Being sick sucks. At least I slept through the night last night and my fever seems to have broken for good. I haven't had a fever in ages, much less one that lasted for 3 days. Ugh. Painful. But feeling better today, at least. Still weak and icky, but much better than yesterday. Awaiting a fresh direct order of lots of juice and soups b/c I was starting to run out and am too tired to go to the store. Willa and I have started up http://overeducatedandunderemployed.wordpress.com again. This time we have guest bloggers already lined up and are taking it a bit easier so we don't burn out on it. But we both enjoy doing it and wanted something fun to do during the evenings as work breaks. Although I am looking askance at how my body seems to really and truly like staying at a BMI of about 29. I mean, honestly now. :p The obstacle course is still pwning me and hard. ARGH. I was, once again, SO CLOSE. asdfghjkl;bastard. I also tried the golf bit in the Training+ section and was so bored out of my skull that I will never do it again, not unless I'm feeling uuuuugh and need to do something completely non-taxing. I got a "perfect dance" for the first time with the step dancing thing, so GO ME~. I then proceeded to completely botch the march thing, though. XD Today was also mainly muscle training--I figure next week I'll be a masochist and move up to 30 jackknifes. And try the pushups again and hate life. XD;; [ Link ] (Leave a comment)

And she's snoring. I have a lot of trouble dealing with snoring people. Kadaj has taken on the Kashmir project and the psych tests. Yazuu is tackling the book report reading and we still don't know who will be handling the term paper. Kyosuke will finish up the online class tomorrow with exception of the final book critique. Hopefully we won't go crazy...heh heh. Can't wait to sell books back and are already looking for the cheapest price on all the books we will need next semester. Texts are going to kill us next term because two of the books required are brand new editions. Damn. Still are not getting comment notifications, so, if we comment to you and you comment back, we may not see it. We're trying to back-track, but we may miss something until we get it sorted out. Looking into a different mail service...not happy with any of them really, but you know how it goes. We need comment notifs!
